Hummingbird
Cake
Recipe by Lucille Stenberg
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 beaten eggs
8 oz. can crushed pineapple and juice
2 cups chopped nuts
2 cups chopped bananas
Frosting:
1 - 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 cup margarine
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Cake makes 3 8-inch layers.
Sift dry ingredients into large mixing bowl. Add eggs,
pineapple, nuts and bananas. Bake in 350 degree oven
until done. Cool and frost with cream cheese frosting.
