Vote
for Someone Who Will Represent Joelton
To The Editor:
As a retired Metro Nashville City
Employee I read with interest
that two people from the Joelton
Area have decided to enter the
Davidson County "Metro
Council" race. For 27 years
I have seen the impact a
councilman has had in the
community when it comes to police
and fire protection, Zoning,
Codes and Public Works issues.
Ken Jakes has decided to run for
District 1 Councilman and Phillip
J. Hostettler Jr. for At large
Councilman. I urge all citizens
of the Joelton Area to vote in
these races, but most importantly
vote for someone who will
represent Joelton. As many know
district one is the biggest
council district and encompasses
Bordeaux. In the past our
representation has been from a
person who obviously has Bordeaux
as her first priority. The time
is NOW for Joelton to be
represented. Please vote in the
up coming election and please
vote for a person who lives in
and has Joelton as their first
priority. Our future demands it.
