Remember
What's at Stake
Elect Ken Jakes
To The Editor:
I would like to thank everyone
who took the time to cast his or
her ballot for me at the August
2nd election. The high percentage
of votes for me clearly shows
that I have enough support to
obtain victory in the run-off
election in September.
Everyone who voted for me PLEASE
encourage others who did not
exercise their right to vote in
August to be sure and not let the
run-off election in September
pass by without having their
voice heard. We have enough
registered voters to obtain
victory. We just have to maintain
the enthusiasm we have had up to
this point. We must take the
necessary steps to have others
who did not vote to join forces
with us to send a message to
Metro that this is OUR District
and we want an active part in all
decisions that come before the
council.
I welcome any input or help you
can give in the upcoming
election. I would like to
represent everyone in District 1.
If you voted for another
candidate in August, I would like
for you to consider me in the
September run-off. I will
represent you with an active
voice that will clearly be heard.
Please call me with any comments
or concerns you may have. I would
very much like to hear from you.
