Green Power

GREEN POWER FROM NASHVILLE ELECTRIC SERVICE

"Green Power" from wind, sun, and landfill gas is now available to
Nashville Electric Service customers in 150-kilowatt-hours blocks. Because the technology for capturing renewable energy is still more expensive than traditional power generation methods, each block customers request will add $4 to their monthly electric bills.

But signing up for "Green Power" will help advance technology and increase the amount of energy generated from cleaner sources. It sends a clear signal that consumers care enough about the environment to invest in clean energy for now and the future. For more information on the program visit
Introducing Green Power Switch

Sign-up forms are available online for
residential and commercial customers or you may call 615/736-6900 for more information. Commercial participants can display a colorful Green Power Switch window sticker in their businesses to show they are helping to create a cleaner, greener community.
